I am so TIRED from retreat. Too tired to say anything about it, plus we’re not supposed to. But I’m just glad it happened, and I’m happy with the good relationships that have been established over the last three days.

Board retreat is tomorrow!

So after making the mistake of going to sleep at 3 am, I had to wake up at 8:03 am to get ready for Camp Training. Today was a good and productive day. I woke up a little before 10 to my dad semi-freaking out that we need to go get my car to the Smog Test before he has to leave for work. So I get up, my eyes still half-closed, stub my foot on the computer chair, get dressed, and went to the Smog place. My car passed. Woo Kasper! Dad: If a guy really likes you, he would do whatever it takes to be yours. You see, there are two kinds of "being interested". One is, when a guy likes you but has his heart open to other girls. This is the kind that isn't so serious about being serious. The other kind of "being interested" is the kind that I want a guy to be interested in you. This is the kind whose eyes are set on you, and only you. No other girls. The one that sends you those long text messages on how much he means to you, gives you goodmorning and goodnight calls telling you to have a good day and to have sweet dreams. If a guy really wants to you to be his, he wouldn't be ashamed to introduce you his friends and even better, his family. I was just trying to explain CFCY to a friend,
and as soon as I mentioned CFC, she was like OH MY PARENTS WERE IN IT IN THE PHILIPPINES YEARS AGO. Mind blown. The CFC community is HUGE, it never fails to surprise me. Now she’s seriously considering going to camp. Regardless of the outcome, I’d call this a successful invitation. :)
